Beautiful Characteristics of Brisbane

The fabulous weather, abundant subtropical vegetation and all round relaxed attitude make Brisbane a city distinctly different from any other. The Brisbane River winds through the city to Moreton Bay " its curves offer numerous spots for waterside recreation and spectacular views.Moreton and Stradbroke Islands create a barrier to the Pacific Ocean, providing the city with a vast body of calm water at its foreshore.Inland, Brisbanes hilly terrain provides breathing space and a beautiful backdrop for the city, with its massed frangipanis, colourful jacarandas and renovated old Queenslanders on stilts. Gold-hued sandstone buildings sit among the gleaming skyscrapers of the city centre.
Brisbane is home to some of Australias best restaurants, from fine-dining establishments to relaxed riverside fish and chip cafs. The wonderful warm climate means Brisbane is market-central there are vibrant weekly markets along the river, in city parks, in the Valley, north of Brisbane ,south of Brisbane " and thats not all of them !
One of the highlights of the city is South Bank, a beach located within the city, unlike anywhere else. Brisbane is a great destination for a family vacation. While the roads are well maintained and traffic is always at a minimum, it is not easy for a first time visitor to navigate. But nothing that an updated map and some careful planning can't solve.
The public transportation system is quite efficient. There are trains, buses and ferries available. There are specific bus routes which cater to visitors specifically. Another must-do attraction for visitors is a boat ride on the Brisbane River. There are many river tours and attractions available.
