Promotional product advertising is one way to really help your business get the exposure it needs to succeed. And using promotional products can really help you serve multiple purposes with your advertising dollars. But if you want to make even more out of your next promotion, consider using your promotional items as an additional business tax deduction as well.

Promotional products are great logo imprinted items that are useful and usually given away for free. Now if you choose to pass them along to your customers they really don't serve as a tax deduction, but this is only one way to use promotional product advertising. Promotional products can also be passed along to school organizations and other community organizations and events and by doing this you can actually use this investment in your business advertising as a tax deduction as well.

So when choosing your next promotion think about using it as a way to give school supplies to the local school or sports bottles to the local football team. Consider promoting your business with logo imprinted first aid kits, perfect for any organization or by handing out promotional toys at the local homeless shelter. Promotional items given away at a community holiday event, like promotional Halloween candy or promotional candy canes can also be used as a community giveaway and tax deduction.

Promotional items will be viewed and will serve as a good advertisement for your business no matter who you give them to or why. Giving them out to your current customer base is a good way to promote repeat business, but passing them along in the community can not only help present your business to potential new customers but can also create a stir in the community about the contributions that your business is making, and they can serve as a tax deduction down the road.

You want to get as much as you can with your advertising budget. Using promotional items makes sense on many different levels. It gives you a vehicle for marketing that can be used in many different ways.

You could hand some big, heavy canvas printed conference bags to a local homeless shelter for the residents. They would probably be thrilled to also get nice promotional logo caps to hand out as well.
