A conference can be whole world of opportunity waiting for you to connect with it. These things attract people and companies that are all in related fields. You could possible hook up with a lot of potential future work if you set up an area for your company at one of these. You do need to know how to get ready for this to maximize your potential.

Initially the area setup is what you will be focusing on. You will have a table or a booth to work within. You need to have a lot of things there that wear your logo. If you are using a table you will want to get a tablecloth that is in your company colors if you have them. If not then use colors that match your logo well. When people stop at your table and want to chit chat, that is when you want to grab their contact information. There will be people that are interested in what you have. They will be busy though and you will have to get a system in place that easily gets their name and address for later. They will probably be open to it, you just have to ask.

The last preparation that is needed will be providing a take home item to people that stop by your area. There are tons of these in many different price ranges. It is nice to have small promotional snacks for people at your table for immediate interest. You also need something that people can take home with them. You can have some umbrellas displayed to get attention because they have a large space for information. Then you could have some small inexpensive telescopic umbrellas as giveaways. That's just one option.
