But when you are choosing promotional products for your company there are some things that you should consider.

Demographic is important. Most promotional product advertising is handed to those people you already know, your customers. So looking at who they are, where they go and what they do is very important. Consider which age group, race and gender make up most of your customer base. These are obviously the people who benefit most by your business. So when choosing promotional products you want to make sure they are products and items that your current customers will use again and again.

The color that you go with is pretty important on the products. Some companies stick with the same colors all the time regardless of what the item is. This does help people to remember the name and the association, but you don't have to do this. You can keep the same logo colors and then have other colors for the products. Sometimes it is nice to switch colors with the seasons.

Quality issues. Your business name is going on these promotional products so if they get a pen that doesn't write or a pair of sunglasses that break in half on the first day, that is what they are going to associate with your business name. You need to make sure that you get the best possible promotional products to display your logo on or this could do more to hurt your business than to help it.

One thing you want to think about with your promotional products is how many people will see them. Some things will get looked at a lot because they will get used in public view. This is a point that matters because the more people see the name the more exposure you get. Things like umbrellas, backpacks, and reusable shopping bags are a few that will get noticed a lot.
