If you suddenly die young then your family will get the full payout, so they will be safe for as long as you keep up the payments and this is something that you will want to continue paying. Make sure that you get enough coverage for everything that you think your family will need.

While you are putting this money away for your family you are building something for yourself to use. You can keep right on paying it if you don't need it and it could be used as a death benefit eventually. Or you can take some of it out and go on a nice cruise. Before you pick a plan or decide on a company to go with you want to research all of the details. It is a lot of information that you are agreeing to and you need to be sure that you understand it all before you sign anything.
