The objects that you decide to use for your promotional campaign will depend on the type of store and clients that you have. You will want to consider the way that your customers will look at the item that you use too. You can choose something that will put your business in a good light and be something that is useful. Going green with whatever you use is a good idea too.

A really good place to start on this change is with the way that you send your customers out the door. If you have the type of store that every person who shops with you will need a bag, then there you go. You need to think about the bag that they use to carry out their shopping. Many places still use those cheap plastic bags. They are a bad choice environmentally speaking. Using paper is at least biodegradable, but it is not tree friendly.

So, instead of paper or plastic, go for cloth. There are some very inexpensive and long lasting bags that people will reuse again and again. These bags can be washed if they get soiled and it takes a lot to get them to wear out. You can easily give these to people when they shop with you because they are so inexpensive. These will usually get kept in the car because they can be used for shopping at any store at all.

Now sure a promotional tote is a great item to shop around with and serves as an advertisement everywhere it goes, but you might be surprised to find that these items won't just be seen in the local markets and in other retail shops, they will also be taken on picnics and as carry along bags to tote items for the kids or for a day at the beach.

These bags have a nice wide surface area to put a logo or business information on. You can put whatever you like on the bag and make it look as pretty or stylish as you want. It will get attention wherever it is if it looks great. You also want to be sure that people that see your walking billboard of a bag can read the business info that you put on there.

Giving your customers wonderful promotional products that they will use while shopping in other stores is thoughtful. Most people will keep handy promotional items and use them as long as they can.
