Web Hosting Ad Not Approved For Super Bowl

Super Bowl Is Not just about football. It Is also about all the television commercials that will be played during the game. This is the most expensive time to have a commercial and it is guaranteed to be seen by more people than any other time on TV. For this reason the people that make these get incredible creative and try to be daring so that they will be included in the lineup. As a rule companies will put in several submissions because they are really banking on some getting in.

This year one web hosting company, Go Daddy, submitted several ads for the Super Bowl. As always, ads have to be cutting edge and creative without crossing any lines. Well, one of their ads has been rejected and honestly the company was rather shocked about which one was.

The ad that they rejected had a particular theme. It was Danica Patrick of course with "Lola" who is a former player from the NFL. They have Lola, who is this great big guy, all dressed in pink and acting extremely silly and effeminate. The point of the ad is to tell the world how easy it is to switch what you are doing, start a website, and be a success with the help of Go Daddy, of course. They were surprised that the ad was rejected and were curious as to why.

Maybe they were worried about how people would react to him, the former macho football player, dressed in pink and behaving the way he did. Possibly they were concerned about how the ad would be perceived by those watching. There was some reason for this decision and it would be helpful if it were stated for all to understand.

If you want to judge for yourself then you will have to go to the Go Daddy web host site to check it out for yourself. It is funny though because although they won't get the chance to have the spot aired for Super Bowl, they will still probably get a lot of attention from it. The controversy over why it was not accepted will be enough to make people want to go see it for themselves. So even if you don't get the actual super ad time you will get the publicity.
